Our exhibitions and displays enable the wider community to view and purchase botanical art, observe artists at work and learn about the art form.
The Society enjoys the opportunity to demonstrate the art form and talk to members of the public about botanical art. Consequently, displays and information sessions are a major part of the Society’s calendar.
Some of these have included displays at historical venues such as Newstead House, Ormiston House and the Richard Randall Art Studio at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. Other displays and talks have been held in libraries, museums and at plant shows; such as, the Society for Growing Australian Plants; Native Plants Queensland and the ABC Gardening Expo.
This year’s exhibition just wrapped up. It was a wonderful display of artworks and merchandise, a very successful exhibition overall.
