Looking at common pitfalls with watercolour – introducing watercolour work – flowers. Look at colour science of opaque/transparent/staining watercolour, and colour mixing. Some time spent on the pitfalls that beginners fall into e.g. work being too pale and flat because of not enough contrast and depth/colour. We will also look at mixing believable greens.
The course will finish off with more watercolour work introducing drybrush and glazing.
There will be a recap on more colour science and opaque/transparent/staining properties of watercolour.[/caption]
