Lyndsay Watts

Lindsay grew up in a rural background, has painted botanical subjects in watercolour since childhood, and enjoys varied interests in art, writing, music and botany. She has a Masters degree in Business Administration.

Her work is known for its details and includes natives and introduced species. It is held in private collections in Australia and overseas.

She was a finalist in the Waterhouse Art Prize, Adelaide 2006, and has been the ‘Artist in Residence’ at Corinna Lodges in the Tarkine Wilderness, Tasmania – from 2006 – painting the flora of that area.

Lindsay has undertaken a number of special commissions, and has exhibited successfully in many exhibitions, including Botanica in 2012 – ‘The Masters and Moore’ in Sydney.
