Botanical Drawing with Cassandra Hodgins
Working in graphite only, over four sessions participants will learn the fundamentals of botanical drawing, learning to observe the botanical world. Discuss basic botany to understand the underpinning structure and function of botanical subjects.
Using these new skills to create simple line and shape drawings, moving to more complex drawings, adding tone to create form. Participants will complete botanically correct graphite drawings.
All botanical art starts with detailed line and tonal drawings. These classes will be an excellent start to your botanical art career.
